During the test the team will be using two firewalls, one from Cisco and one from Palo Alto. A firewall works on several levels of the Internet and can also perform secure multi-level action on a computer. A firewall is often used to to grant or deny a program access. Based on the origin, content and destination of the packet a firewall will stop it or let it progress. To do this as safely as possible, we set rules that determine whether a program can access the Internet. In performing the test the team will set the rules and check through a scanner if the rules are in operation.
